Why do I so adore Element in Woollahra ?

A great hair salon is hard to find.

I’ve been a client since Element first opened six years ago and I have looked forward to every visit ever since! Element is a quality salon from top to bottom with a well earned first-class reputation for a reason, - professional, talented caring stylists and staff. Exceptional staff have the potential to give any hairdressers an edge in a highly competitive and crowded market such as Sydney’s.

The staff at Element are an enthusiastic, dedicated, talented group of individuals who offer a sincere, genuine and top quality service - their knowledge of their products and skill with scissors and blow dryer is simply breathtaking. They also understand the importance of treating their clients with respect and sincerity and ensuring that they feel comfortable and confident at all times. A beautiful range of products is available, and recommended where appropriate (but never pushed relentlessly which is greatly appreciated).

From the receptionist to the assistants, stylists, colourists and manager, seamless, gifted and attentive service makes for a brilliant salon experience every time. Whether you’re greeted with a favourite beverage on arrival, or offered one of talented beauty-therapist Martina’s exquisitely indulgent complimentary hand massages, everyone is thoroughly indulged. A great salon pampers its clients happily, ensuring that they feel relaxed and welcome; it also tends to every need of the client making sure they are serviced quickly, efficiently without making them feel rushed or in the way. At Element I always feel that I have my stylist’s full attention and that I am her most important client. Everytime.

The salon itself is one of Sydney’s best-kept secrets - a divine, tiny jewel of a space, well located in Ocean Street Woollahra. Parking is usually a breeze. Inside it is a haven of serenity - even on busy days, a client never feels rushed through or hassled. The Manager, Debi is a gentle presence - elegant, generous, sophisticated, the salon’s co-ordinator Jenni is gorgeous, attentive and always welcoming with a beautiful smile. The creative team at Element is fantastic - senior stylists including Deborah, Jasmine, Josh and Josephine, have a fantastic rapport and make the salon a very special work place. The atmosphere is easygoing and unpretentious and the emphasis is always on passion and professionalism. In fact, Element is famous for valuing clients - with warm, attentive, genuine and individualised personal service - a rare and beautiful thing in Sydney!

I have been fortunate to have Jasmine and Josh stand in when my usual stylist Deborah has been on holiday. Both are stunning - the transition was seamless. They are extremely talented, highly experienced stylists and colourists. Jasmine is quite simply fabulous! My usual stylist (and Head Colourist) Deborah Grevett is a total dream - from her dazzlingly beautiful smile to her great advice and style tips. I rely on Deborah totally for product guidance, colour advice and reliably fabulous styling. Deborah is warm and engaging, genuinely caring and inspirational! I have been a dedicated client of hers since she started working at Element five years ago. Deborah knows how to weave a certain magic for no matter how bedraggled or unkempt I look when I visit, I always feel a total shiny, glossy blonde goddess when I leave! The comments I receive on my hair are so flattering and complimentary I want to keep Element a special secret - Sydney’s best kept secret!
