Balayage

Balayage comes from the French word meaning the art of sweeping color on to the hair.
It’s a transition from dark to light without seeing any lines. There are many different techniques to create this effect.
Balayage is popular, it’s fashionable, it’s on the cover of magazines, its low maintenance, cost effective, allows people with dark hair to seek variation in hair colour without making it feel unnatural or too” different. It can also be done quite extreme with a lot more contrast for the more daring. It’s for reds, blondes, brunettes, straight, wavy & curly hair. It also creates more texture in your hair making it look a lot thicker.
People such as Sarah Jessica Parker, Giselle Bundchen, Erin Wasson, Pip Edwards are rocking these looks to name a few!
The end result for this type of look is endless there are many variations which can see you go with a deeper colour at the roots and gradually getting lighter on the ends.
